Companion to the lesson "Your Thirty-Day Launch Plan"
Week One: Build the Machine, Not the Logo
☐ Business registered, bank account open, EIN in the file
☐ Liability, bailee, and auto coverage quoted or bound
☐ Kit in hand: scale tested, bags issued, unscented detergent in bulk, hangers, tags
☐ Price sheet written with minimum; cascade math run until you can defend every box
☐ Service agreement and preference sheet drafted; liability cap decided; card payments set up
☐ Two zones picked from the fit-check circle; loop days named
☐ Boring calls made: city hall on home occupation, health department if the county asks, agent for the quotes
☐ Name, phone that answers, half-page site. Then stop: a brand identity has never washed a sock
Week Two: Five Proving Orders
☐ Neighborhood offer posted in every listed channel, with the bounded half-price first order
☐ Up to five customers taken at real prices, on real loops
☐ Check-in photos, fold standard, and honest weighing run exactly as drilled
☐ Weight, minutes, and cost per order logged for every proving order
☐ Every stumble written into procedures (fix the process, not the person)
Week Three: Loops and the Second Ask
☐ Proving customers converted to weekly slots on named days
☐ Return-text ritual running with the referral line
☐ Second marketing wave: same post reworded, building boards, two commercial scripts delivered in person to three gyms, salons, or host hotspots
☐ Google Business Profile published; first happy customers asked for reviews with the direct link
☐ App-platform orders on off nights if capacity allows
Week Four: The Review That Decides
☐ Launch Checklist filled honestly (every box on this sheet)
☐ Cost per order and effective hourly computed at current density
☐ The single constraint named (orders, density, price, or capacity)
☐ One change chosen for next month
Decision: double down if the hourly clears your floor and the trend is up. Fix the constraint if one number is obviously wrong. Fold the residential lane and keep the anchors if the market voted no; that is the system working, not failing. Day-30 checkpoint numbers (course-set): three to six weekly customers, effective hourly in the mid-teens or better on the dense loop, at least two reviews or referrals in motion. Below that, the diagnostic comes out before the ad budget does.
