Companion to "Find Your Fifteen Hours" and "Your First Twelve Weeks."
Log every evening and weekend half-hour for two normal weeks. Write what you actually did, not what you meant to do. Then sort blocks: F = genuinely fixed (job, commute, sleep, caregiving, meals with people you love); X = flexible spending (TV, scrolling, drifting, optional social, rewatching things already seen). The flexible total, capped at twenty, is your real weekly budget.
| Block (day + time) | What actually happened | F / X | Block (day + time) | What actually happened | F / X |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flexible hours found, week one | Week two | ||
| Weekly build budget (flexible total, capped at 20) | hours. Band check: 15 is the floor where a business moves; 20 is the ceiling, not the target | ||
| Booked in week one (do not book all fifteen: book ten, live them a fortnight, then expand) | hours | ||
Reference (ATUS, latest release): Americans averaged 5.2 hours of leisure per day and the largest slice, 2.6 hours a day, went to watching TV, about eighteen hours a week. Steal hours from screens, not from sleep and not from people. Weekend mornings are the best build hours and the audit usually misses them.
Log every hour honestly: customer time, build time, admin. Revenue and profit come from the separate business account. Job performance is spot-checked monthly with the same honesty as the business.
| Week | Deep hours (build) | Customer hours | Admin batch | Selling hrs (min 2) | Total hrs (cap 20) | Revenue | Costs | Profit | Job spot-check (OK / slipping) |

| Cycle totals: hours / revenue / profit | / $ / $ |
| Paying customers this cycle (cycle-one honest band: three to ten) | |
| Real conversations about the offer (kill line at 40 with no customer and no pattern) | |
| Money test running total: months of consecutive profit |
Profit after costs, never gross. Selling hours come out of the admin window, not the deep blocks. If the job spot-check says slipping, the build week shrinks immediately.
