| Filter | Pass condition (from the lesson) |
| 1. Visible problem | Mess becomes clean, tangled becomes organized, boring food becomes impressive. If the benefit is invisible, the camera cannot sell it |
| 2. Price band | Roughly $20 to $100 retail. Under $20 the commission per sale is too small; over $100 impulse buying fades. First fifty picks live inside the band |
| 3. Commission floor | 15% or more. Under 10% means the seller does not want creators |
| 4. Hands-on test | Any competent creator could film a decent video with it in five minutes, no setup beyond a table |
| 5. Repeat or bundle potential | Consumables and refills generate repeat buyers; pairing accessories generate multi-item carts. Neither required, both compound |
Score each filter 1 to 5. The sheet's job is not precision; it is preventing you from falling in love with a product at 1 a.m. and filming two weeks for a listing nobody buys.
Research loop: train your feed twenty to thirty minutes on shopping content only; read the marketplace's best sellers with their sold counts; cross-check Amazon bestseller lists for the crest gap. Order of operations: the product does not matter until the video exists.
